The Shui-liu-dong Agricultural Tourism Area (水流東休閒農業區) has been honored with the 2018 and 2021 leisure Agricultural Area Evaluation Appraisal Growth Award and the first Gold Medal Rural Competition. Waipu District is most famous for its grape and wine-making industry, known as the "Hometown of Wine." Besides, it combines the unique "Shui-liu-dong" river terrace landscape, Tonghua (Tung blossom 桐花) trail, high-speed rail viewing platform, farmers’ market, and other attractions to promote in-depth rural tourism.

【Hujiaozhuang Farmers' Market (虎腳庄農夫市集)】
Farmers' market exhibit and sell Local agricultural products to achieve local production and consumption. You can directly understand the food production process and emphasize the shortest food mileage from farm to table. The Farmers' Market also organizes nonperiodic activities.

【Tonghua Trail (桐花步道)】
The Tonghua Trail, situated within the enchanting Shui-liu-dong Agricultural Tourism Area, offers a captivating journey dedicated to the appreciation of blossom. Shaded by green shadows along the way, there are professional local guides and
narrators to guide the plentiful natural ecological resources of animals and plants. Every season when flowers bloom, enjoy the snowy beauty of Tung blossoms and experience their romantic and healing beauty of them.

Four-seasonal theme itinerary: Taichung Agricultural JOY Tour (臺中農JOY來遊程), Food and Agriculture Education of Shui-liu-dong Red Wine, Table Under the Grape Tree, Shui-liu-dong Red Wine Music Festival, Red Wine Road Running (路跑) Costume Carnival, Onion Red Wine, Bubble Enzyme, and DIY Turtle-shaped Rice Cake(紅龜粿).

Main production crops: Rice, dragon fruit, grape, variety breeding Asian pear (高接梨), flower, etc.

【By driving】

． Get off National Highway No. 1 to Lihpao Resort (麗寶樂園) and take Yuemei East Road (月眉東路). Then turn right to Yuemei South Road (月眉南路) to the end, and turn left to Yuemei West Road (月眉西路) to arrive.
． Get off at Dajia Interchange (大甲交流道) on National Highway No. 3 and take the Third Ring Road (三環路). Then connect with Jiahou Road (甲后路), head towards Houli (后里), and turn left at Yuemei West Road (月眉西路) to arrive.

【By public transportation】

Take the shuttle bus from Taichung Railway Station to Houli Station (后里火車站). Walk for about 4 minutes to Houli Elementary School (后里國小), take bus No. 155, get off at Yuemei Stop (月眉站) , and walk for about 16 minutes.
