The Shishuike River is one of the tributaries of the Dajia River, spanning a total length of approximately 15 kilometers. Besides providing drinking water and farmland irrigation, there're many aquatic plants and animals. With abundant and diverse ecological resources, it is a natural ecologic classroom and the best place to experience nature.

The Shishuike Leisure Agricultural Area combines diverse ecology and Leisure resources, including well-known scenic spots such as the scenery bridge - Lover's Wooden Bridge (情人木橋) , the Five Sacred Trees (五福臨門神木), and the King of Trees Sightseeing Botanical Garden (樹之王觀光植物花園). Adjacent to the Lover's Wooden Bridge is the Shinong Plaza (石農廣場), where you can find Shinong Coffee, a prominent attraction within the the Shishuike Leisure Agricultural Area. There is an observation deck on the river bank of Shinong Square inside the area. The Shinong Coffee Gourmet Restaurant locates next to Lover's Wooden Bridge. With its sea blue with pure white color, the simple structure creates a Mediterranean style, as if you have come to a foreign country.

【Lover's Wooden Bridge】
Lover's Wooden Bridge locates on the Shishuike River. It is a wooden bridge with a total length of 40 meters and a width of 3.5 meters. Its most considerable feature is that the entire bridge has no pier support, and the material is large logs imported from North America. Specially invited American technicians came to Taiwan for guidance and introduced a landscape-glued wooden bridge made of earthquake-proof wooden bridge technology. It creates a romantic atmosphere when lit the lights at night. Additionally, in the surrounding area, there is an observation deck located on the riverbank of Shinong Plaza.

There's the beautiful and delightful scenery along the way let it be the one of the popular leisure tourism attractions in Taichung City. Ride a bicycle to experience the natural scenery of Shishuike. Explore the green tunnel to heal the soul through nature.

【By driving】
Take National Highway No. 4, get off at Fengyuan Interchange (豐原交流道), and walk about 5 kilometers of Dongshi (東勢) direction along Provincial Highway 3 (臺3線) . And you will reach the Leisure agricultural area.

【By public transportation】
Take the Fengyuan Bus from downtown Fengyuan to Dongshi or Zhuolan(卓蘭), and get off at the Lover's Wooden Bridge to reach the core zone of the Leisure agricultural area.
