The Leisure Agricultural Area for Hometown of Craftsperson in Dajia District is renowned as the birthplace of Dajia straw mats.
In the early days, mothers in the community used rush weaving to supplement their household expenses, and this became the hometown of rush-weaving craftsmen. Additionally, the area offers farm planning experience courses and traditional rush weaving shows, from the process of rush preparation to the art of weaving itself, visitors have the opportunity to personally experience the intricacies of Dajia straw mat weaving.

【Traffic Guide】

． Going north: National Highway No. 1/National Highway No. 3 → Connect National Highway No. 4 to Qingshui → Connect to Provincial Highway 17 (台17線道) and go straight → turn right to Provincial Highway 61 (Western Coast Expressway ,台61線道, 西濱快速道路) to Dajia (go north) → get off the Jianxing and Xiqi (建興西岐) exit to arrive the Leisure agricultural area

． Going south: National Highway No. 1/National Highway No. 3 → get off at Yuanli Interchange(苑裡交流道) → turn right and connect to Taiwan County Highway 140 (towards Yuanli) → go through Provincial Highway 1 and go straight to Provincial Highway 61(台61線道) , turn left and go southward for about 3 kilometers to arrive the Leisure agricultural area.
