The Agricultural Bureau of Taichung City Government has assisted the online platform of Taiwan Farmers Mall, operated by the Wu-Feng District Farmers' Association, to limit the Mid-Autumn Festival of "2023 Autumn Moon Carnival" from now until October 15 and specially planned the Mid-Autumn Festival theme area to bring consumers multiple choices. During the event, customers can also purchase high-quality kitchenware and household appliances within this dedicated area, providing an excellent opportunity to shop at Taiwan Farmers Mall.

According to the Agriculture Bureau, the Taiwan Farmers Mall, operated by the Wu-Feng District Farmers' Association, has been a staunch supporter agriculture in Taiwan. They attract commodities produced by small farmers and peasant associations from all over Taiwan to the platform, and thousands of selected agricultural products bring astonishing and diverse choices to consumers. The mall also regularly holds large-scale preferential activities in farming production seasons and festivals to bring business opportunities to small farmers and farmers' associations. This Autumn Moon Carnival takes the Mid-Autumn Festival agricultural products as the primary axis to plan six theme areas. They include barbecue combination, seafood combination, Dongshi fresh oyster, domestic fresh pomelo, rural moon cake, and hot commodity gift box area. The mall shows the rich diversity of agricultural products in Taiwan but also creates an innovative shopping experience for consumers through the consumption pattern of accumulating agricultural currency to offset consumption.
The Agriculture Bureau has reported that the Wu-Feng District Farmers' Association has harnessed the local specialty, Yiquan fragrant rice, to create the "Fragrant Rice Custard Cake" and "Fragrant Rice Madeleine" selections for this year's Mid-Autumn Festival pastries, aiming to promote the excellence of local rice. They bake it with fragrant rice flour to make the moon cakes crispier on the outside. Adding sweet but not greasy bean paste and custard filling to make custard cake and a madeleine with a solid texture and lemon fragrance, it has become a popular moon cake gift box for this year's Mid-Autumn Festival. They received pre-orders for hundreds before launching on the market. Besides, you can order such delicious moon cakes welcomed in rural areas at the Taiwan Farmers Mall, which makes you convenient and instant.
Furthermore, the event featured Chef A-Qing from the state banquet, who conducted a live cooking demonstration at the event site, showcasing the mall's premium domestic meat and aquatic products. He combined the salt koji, produced by the Wu-Feng District Farmers' Association, to cook a series of mouth-watering and creative dishes. Chef A-Qing, the chef of the state banquet, said that salt koji can replace salt for seasoning, and we can also use it to marinate meat to make it softer and tender. Integrate Taiwanese diverse and high-quality agricultural products into various dishes through A-Qing's sharing of cooking tips and superb cooking skills, presenting a unique flavor and delicacy.
The Agriculture Bureau stressed that whether you are longing for the barbecue flavor, infatuating with the delicious seafood, or wanting to taste authentic rural moon cakes, you will be in the "2023 Autumn Moon Carnival" activity area of Taiwan Farmers Mall from now until October 15 (https://www.taiwanfarmersmall.com.tw/promotion.php?
