With the Lunar New Year approaching, the Agriculture Bureau of Taichung City Government is partnering with local agricultural e-commerce platforms and farmers’ organizations to launch two major marketing highlights for the holiday season. Through a “limited-time e-commerce promotion” and a “Lunar New Year featured agricultural products catalog,” the initiative integrates online deals and a gift-giving guide, making it easy for the public to purchase premium Taichung agricultural products for the reunion holiday.
The Agriculture Bureau noted that the first highlight is the e-commerce platform’s limited-time Lunar New Year promotion. From now through February 10 this year, any purchase on the platform qualifies consumers to enter a prize draw, with a chance to win a value-packed lucky bag worth NTD 2,222, adding an extra surprise to Lunar New Year shopping. The platform offers a wide range of products, from fresh agricultural produce and processed foods to everyday household essentials, meeting the needs of different customer groups and shopping occasions and providing a convenient one-stop shopping experience. Consumers are encouraged to shop on the platform and support high-quality local agricultural products through their purchases.
The second highlight is the “Lunar New Year Agricultural Products Catalog” released at the same time. It features a curated selection of premium local agricultural products and processed goods from Taichung, covering a wide range of options for holiday gift-giving, everyday home essentials, and festive dishes, fully showcasing the quality and distinctive characteristics of Taichung agriculture. The catalog balances practicality with gift-giving needs, helping the public quickly identify their Lunar New Year shopping priorities, while also expanding holiday sales channels for local farmers and businesses.
The Agriculture Bureau explained that the limited-time campaign, which integrates online promotions with catalog marketing during the Lunar New Year season, not only increases market visibility for Taichung agricultural products, but also enables the public to support local agriculture in a more convenient and cost-effective way.
